I’m really part Irish The Secret of Life is Enjoying the Passage of Time a.k.a. What I Think I Know About Philip Do you like the music of James Taylor and Steely Dan? Do you dream of being serenaded at karaoke night, and having someone to sing carols with you at Christmas? I like music, all types, but have a soft spot for anything 70’s from my time in a college band. Speaking of Christmas, I’m an active member of my church and hope that you and God are on speaking terms. I also have a soft spot for romance. Flowers, spur of the moment tokens of affection. I like to show you how much I appreciate you. I’ll always treat you with TLC and respect. Since cooking is something I enjoy doing, I’d enjoy an evening of making you some dishes I’ve tried to perfect. You might enjoy camping, biking or even a walk around the block. If you don’t happen to be a golfer yourself, I hope you’d find it fun to try it out or at least go with me when I play a round. The same goes for playing pool. It would be great if those were some things we could share. And if you also like spur of the moment trips and sampling new restaurants, I think we’d have a great time together. I talk to people for a living. It’s what I love. And what I’d also love is finding that special someone to talk with about day to day things. To talk with about everything, really. I find the banter back and forth quite refreshing. And I’m not afraid to get into a deep discussion or tell you how I feel. Communication is key. You’re a good listener and so am I. And you’re a dreamer. You still have dreams, don’t you? Two dreamers are better than one. To me the deep connection I’m searching for would be evident in the look we both know when we catch each other’s eye from across the room at a party or celebration or maybe a fancy affair. I would expect we’d both look for a place away from everyone to sneak off and make-out. Yes I’m still a hopeless romantic. Most of us have some baggage. At our ages, we’re past drama. Let's leave it behind and see this as a new starting point. That's not to say we can't reminisce about things past, including past relationships. But no jealousy. Memories are important and our pasts make us who we are today. I’m looking for a mature, young at heart, active woman around 55, give or take a decade. A lady in all senses of the word. You show self-respect, class, and appreciation. You don’t allow your mood to affect your manners. Being a classy lady doesn't mean that you’re a snob, but that you have dignity, and show consideration, and moderation in all you do. So if you’ve got a sense of adventure and a sense of humor, and think life is too short to be a couch potato, let’s seize the day together.
