Hello! I am looking for a man who loves life. I am a creative, intelligent, enthusiastic woman who has experienced many different things in life, and is grateful to God for all of it. I love my huge family of origin, my own children, and I find it easy to like pretty much everyone I meet. My interests are: theatre, music, traveling, languages (I speak three well, and am working on more.), doing artwork of all kinds, learning and meeting new people. I enjoy body surfing (when I'm near the ocean), dancing and swimming. I enjoy road trips, big and small get togethers, and just playing board games (If we are on the same Trivial Pursuit team, we WILL be winning, by the way!). I am not the shy violet who lets the man win a game because that will keep the peace. But, I also am not going to "rub it in" if I do win. I'm just having fun, and hope you do, too. I enjoy having discussions, debates and disagreements, as long as there's more light than heat. Ideas are great things to play with. I have some opinions, and hope you do, too. If you have an interest I haven't covered, ask me. As long as it's legal and moral, I'm probably game! To paraphrase "Auntie Mame": Life is a banquet and most people are starving to death. I'd probably want to meet at a coffeeshop first, and talk, so we could get to know each other a bit. Then we could come up with some ideas of very cool things to do; go to a ballgame, dancing, a movie (which one would you want to see?), the state fair, whatever.

To make a difference even if in little ways, wherever I go. I want to be the Johnny Appleseed of God's love. Now, the WAY I'd like to do it is by writing, artwork, public speaking, acting, and whatever else comes up. But, I am a communicator, and so that's what I do.

Learning something new, finding something valuable, meeting someone interesting, having a conversation in another language, teaching someone something they didn't know (and having them "get it"), bringing a smile to someone's eyes and heart who didn't expect to be loved that day. Everything else is good, too.

I look for a good heart, a kind person, a giver, but not a wishy-washy, goody-two-shoes. I want a man who is not afraid to express his opinion, but does it with respect. I look for a person who has enough security and self-worth to be happy with himself, but is ever striving to improve. I also want a man who knows two things: There is a God. You and I are not Him. I also want a man who knows the difference between men and women, and wants a woman who wants to be a woman because he's a man who wants to be a man.
