Me describiría a mi mismo como
I am a widower whose late wife's love and uderstanding was the greatest inspiration in my secular life. she died so young. But she always said , as her mother has done, a man should consider marriage if widowed. She repeated this in her last weeks. I am not so foolish as to think one finds new friends who will match her. but friends and who knows what that will mean are vital for me. Iam active in many ways. I work in a university teaching Psychology and Economics. We have 4 children all now grown and successful. Some 4 grand children too. I live in very rural Lincolnshire and as someone who is very gregarious I miss my" first mate ", despite my faith. No one now to crew our boats !! She and I, in the UK and Ireland (we had Irish parents). I am fascinated by politics and the world of science.I read a lot . but i also love fiction for fun and relaxation. I have travelled and sailed and camped in most of Europe, but love my home country -Britain above all . I have always been active in sport, but now I am a little too old for squash and cricket. Yachts, however , are still OK I love to do things and am up for all activities. I fear TV is not often my choice(except for sport!) I love all kinds of music from choral classics to popular music of yesterday and sometimes today. I am simply seeking a friend. I have no wish for any relationship that is not in my heart and anyone's I may meet. I can send pictures if requested, and those a very old house and garden where I live in a very small town in the wolds. Please ask me anything you are interested in. I wish you well. Colin
