I love the outdoors, especially the moon and the stars. Reading is one of my passions. I like to cook (but I don't like the clean up!). I live on a 'hobby farm' atop a mountain. I love home and being with kind, warm loving people, family and friends. Traveling is fine if I can take my time. Although I am now retired, the last 19 years of my career I traveled all over the eastern U. S. every week. Love being at home, sitting on my porch, watching sunsets turn to dusk, to twilight, to night...then the stars...like hiking/walking, trying to stay physically fit, working on the land and 'projects'. I named the place I live 'Refuge' from Psalm 91. Above ALL else I love GOD first and foremost.

External beauty is nice. Who doesn't enjoy looking at what is beautiful, whether it's nature, humans, art, architecture, etc. But the reality is external beauty fades. The beauty of the soul is what is most important. Nonetheless, I do believe in trying to take care of one's self. I don't want to live forever in this life, but while I am here I want to be as healthy and fit as possible and have a good quality of life.
