Hi I'm Peter a 54 year old divorcee of 3 years and single parent to my 9 year old beautiful son 4 days a week who spends the other 3 days with his mother. I also work full time in a profession which aims to help people with their challenges. I have good friends and I come from a large catholic family who live a distance away. I have spent most of the last 3 years focussing purely on my sons happiness and last year completed a rather intense University course, so you could say there has been little room for romance or intimacy though in essence I probably wasn't ready. I'm now feeling more resourced to contemplate a relationship and initially I am looking to meet someone that I can spend some time with ,get to know ,relax with and enjoy some special times. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, walking and the beach. Second to being a father my other passion is Celtic football club for which I make no apologies ha ha. God I was doing so well ? !!!!! I am also an authority on antiquarian and 1st edition books ,I enjoy car boot sales and auctions (well they did say warts and all when writing this profile). In essence I am looking for a soulful person who is honest, humorous and sensitive, initially for some light dating, laughter, friendship and days out. I am open to a longer term relationship with the right person. I'm sure there is a lot more I could write and I may update my profile later.

I look for substance in a person, someone who isn't judgemental, who cares about others and is loyal to their friends. Someone who is open and doesn't bottle things up too much, who can see the good in others and who never speaks badly of others . Someone who equally enjoys a good night out and can have a really good laugh.
