I Would Describe Myself As
It's tough for me to toot my own horn...
Born and raised in Indiana, but a Florida resident for nearly 30 years, I spent a little over a year up north, from April 2002 to July 2003, and things were SO MUCH different---I never did have any plans to stay, but after that "adventure" it became obvious to me that Florida was my home, and would continue to be for a long, long time.
I'm a bit of an introvert until I feel more comfortable with people I meet for the first time. I'm absolutely terrible at remembering names! Is that a function of growing older, or is it due to something else? That's one thing I've never been able to figure out; maybe I never will. Anyway, I think most people would describe me as intelligent, unselfish, sensitive, and that I care about the feelings and predicament of others. I'm a hopeless romantic; soft music (Kenny G is one of the best for this mood), the warm light flickering from candles, a bottle of wine on ice...is this only a dream, or will you be the one to make it come true???
I have been alone for quite a long time. I guess you could say that in some respects I'm a bit "gun-shy" if you know what I mean. I'm very thin-skinned. Someday though, I'm sure that the right woman will arrive in my life...I have NOT given up!
