I'm an American of Scotch-Irish ancestry teaching in the UK. I have been a single parent for 18 years and, now that my daughters are out on their own, I am looking towards my own future happiness. I am eclectic, adventurous, a bit of a romantic, loyal and caring man who is actively seeking someone kind and loving, who loves to travel, and would be willing to return with me to the US. Age is not an issue with me as long as there is love. I am a historian so love to investigate things & places of historical interest. I also love the theatre, museums, art gallery's, beaches and mountains. I love to travel and have visited (and lived) on four continents (looking at going to the other three in the near future!) I can cook but also love to eat out, especially Italian, Asian, or Mexican! Hope to hear from you soon...

A cruise to the Antarctic, Alaskan Inland Waterway, European Canals, or Caribbean. I have also always wanted to travel on The Orient Express, The Royal Scotsman, and the Trans-Siberean Express trains.
