am a good humoured, healthy individual.I love swimming, dining out, socialising, basically I love life,my friends say that I have keen sense of humour. I enjoy a wide range of music, from classical to traditional jazz, and I play Eb tuba in a brass band and in a ten piece swing band. I am often called upon to entertain the elderly at their various meetings in the district as a soloist.I love cooking, but I am somewhat restricted in this activity, in that I have a degree of right hemiplegia as a result of a motoring accident as a baby. The same accident also caused loss of 70% vision in one eye, but this does not inhibit me, and few people and friends are actually aware of this, though it does prevent me driving. I love walking and have covered a lot of miles in the dales and locally. Anything historical interests me, particularly local history.I am a social person and enjoy good company. I own my own music shop, established 27 years.
