Im a 40 year old divorced father of three wonderful children who I have part-time. Luckily, no drama exists between my former spouse and myself and get along for the kids. I work in law enforcement as a school resource officer for the public schools. Physically, I'd describe myself as very fit/athletic as being fit is a life-style for me (I do like my wine and dark chocolate though!) Looking for an active/fit and educated Catholic woman for friendship first. I love the outdoors, football most other activities, however I do have a "home-body" side to myself as well. I do hope to find someone with similar interests.

I love sushi! My ideal first date would to either take her or meet her at a great sushi bar and order the most un-pronouncable item from the menu, then trying to guess what the heck we were eating. The date would end with a hand-shake or hug and hopefully those warm-fuzzy feelings one gets when they feel attracted to someone.

Im, 40, I've tried most things I've wanted to. I do not wish to jump off a ledge with a rubber band the width of your thumb wrapped around your ankles, I do not want to jump out of a perfectly safe airplane, I do not want to try any mind altering drug or substance. I do want to try meeting a woman who is strong in her Catholic faith and enjoys life!

I do like to travel, when time and funds allow. Going to the Oregon Coast, renting a small skif, crab-pots and catching crab in the bay, THAT, is fun!

First, I look at physical appearence. Is she fit? active? That say's a lot about a person. I then look at her face, do I find her attractive? Does she smile? Then I look at how she treats her friends, family, co-workers- how do they act around her? I like a woman to be confident, career minded, but knows when to let her guard down and allow a man to treat her like a lady. Intelligence is a huge plus, and strong belief in her faith. These are all qualities I look for but it boils down to three things...physical, emotional and spiritual "connection."
