I am a very young-at-heart widow who would like to meet someone interested in sharing a warm and loving friendship, uncertain beyond that. Petite in stature, I am 5' tall and of slender build. Brown hair and eyes. I was born and raised in New York City, but have lived in St. Louis for many years. I've lived in six states (mostly academic moves). My interests include theater, movies, dining out, reading, listening to music, the performing arts, socializing with friends and family and exploring nature. I especially like to travel…locally, within the states, or internationally. Relaxing is fun, too! I am fun loving, affectionate, and enjoy being with family and friends. Humor is important, and it doesn’t take much to make me laugh. I am "traditional" in many ways, yet modern, as well. I enjoy computers, ipods, and most of the never-ending new technology of the day. My family brings me great joy. Although I can be slightly on the shy side initially, I very much enjoy participating in lively, intelligent, conversation and the exchange of ideas. I have four beautiful, married children and enough grandchildren to keep me happy and energized. I am open to new ideas and new activities.
I see my ideal match as an ethical, sincere, and honest person. A gentlemanly manner (not stuffy), and a neat appearance are important to me. Someone who is both a talker and a listener, interested in others, enjoys socializing, humor, having fun, travel, and being active! Also important would be sharing mutually compatible interests and/or a willingness to consider new interests. I look forward to that learning experience for myself. And, for sure, I am looking for that person who will also be seeking a special friendship and companionship, warmth, and affection. Might this person be you?
P.S. My omission of sports simply reflects the fact that I have limited knowledge in that area. But I AM a good sport in sharing sporting activities with sports fans, which is nearly everyone I have ever known!
