I Would Describe Myself As

Honesty, (honestly) would be the first word to describe me. I don't like to lie or be lied to or play games.Respect is very important to me. I am an easy going 51 year old mom with two adult children who are out of the nest with their own little ones, my precious grand-babies. I own my own business, but it takes a lot of hard work and perspiration to keep it going. I take pride in my appearance, and though I am not a neat freak, I like to keep things clean and tidy. I love a good conversation, a trip to the ocean, camping, and occasionally candle lit dinners. After a recent camping trip to San Diego with my son and his family, I discovered and fell in love with S'mores. Yummy! I love to have fun, and I am very open minded. I am dependable. If someone, especially family, needs me, I will be there. Although I am always ready to lend a helping hand, I do not like my kindness and generosity to be taken advantage of. I believe and God, and I attend church periodically with my mom ( a devout Catholic), or my son's family, but would be open to going more often with the right person. I believe that the Church is a good place to go to get encouraged, and closer to God. I also believe in saying prayers at home and just knowing God is with you. I am very thankful for all I have. This Spring I went to a music festival where a speaker was from an organization called "Life Without Limbs". This man was born without arms or legs, yet he gets out of bed every day and puts a smile on his face and deals with life in a positive way. This helped me to remember that we should all count our blessings, and when we are having a "bad day" maybe it's not as bad as we think. I love animals. I am great at sewing and knitting. Growing up in a family of 9 children, I had to learn skills like that because making clothes was cheaper than buying them. I love to laugh and have a good time.
