Music moves me and I need to move to it - rock n roll, Latin or country. Laughter and finding a reason to celebrate life's pleasures are important to me. I am always on the quest for the perfect photo. Going for walks,yoga, cross country skiing or easy hikes that get out into nature are my ideal ways of relaxing and keeping fit.
I love to travel. The poem "Ships of Yule" which I read many years ago inspired my travels. I enjoy meeting people, and am deeply fascinated by other cultures. Speaking several languages enabled me to work in several countries. My journeys across Canada are far ranging, including into the far north. I have explored various parts of Europe by all manner of transport. After venturing to Mexico, I am eager to discover more tropical destinations.
Going to theatre, dining,(and did I mention dancing),and concerts are special evenings out for me but I like to balance it all out with quiet evenings at home where I enjoy cooking and trying out new cuisine. A man that is handy in the kitchen is on my list but as long as you know how to make reservations. The simplest things can be fun with the right person.
