Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I am widowed for almost three years after a very successful marriage/ Right now I travel and volunteer. Currently I volunteer at church in many different ministries. I also volunteer for Metro here in Las Vegas. I have two grown sons, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. I am politically liberal but don’t let that chase away any conservatives or tea partiers, I am truly liberal and look forward to discussions. I love to travel. Since March of 2013 I have been to India for three weeks and while I was there I visited my sponsored child whom I have been sponsoring since she was five years old. She just turned 13 in July 2014. I have also been to Paris, Rome, Cancun and just this past may I was in China for three weeks. I usually travel alone and make all of my own arrangements. It’s a fantastic world out there. I was so happy with Mahima (my sponsored child) that I sponsored another one , also in India but in a totally different part. Before I retired I worked in aerospace and the nuclear field. I took part in setting the ultrasonic inspection systems for the Apollo/Saturn Space program and I worked on the first eleven Apollo capsules. In The nuclear end of things I worked in a program called “Atoms for Peace” developing and installing nuclear test equipment. I also worked quite extensively on the Space Shuttle Program and the Titan rocket program that was used for injecting communications satellites into orbit. Eventually that dried up in California so we moved to Las Vegas where I then was a capacity manager with one of the local telephone companies.
And here I am.
In addition to my volunteer and travel efforts I also enjoy walking or bicycling. I walk more than three miles every day and exercise regularly trying to regain my former body. But time and gravity are winning.
