I believe a first date is best in a quiet place where we can talk and get to know each other. This could be over coffee or a light lunch. I love live music and dancing. I enjoy most any kind of concert, from philharmonic to soul music. I own a boat and a day hanging out at the lake on my boat relaxing, observing nature, swimming, BBQing on the boat and maybe pretending to fish. Weekend last minute getaways to the mountains or the coast are always appreciated. I like to attend sporting events and recently fell in love with college hockey games at the new small hockey arena. My favorite sport to watch is little kids playing T-ball. It's great fun and you will come away with a large smile on your face.

I love a woman who can carry on an intelligent conversation. Someone with a range of interests and experience who can bring new ideas and experience to my own. If she loves music and can dance all the better. A woman who understands at this time of life our attitudes and behavior are pretty set. She is flexible, tolerant and supportive. Just as I approach my interaction toward them. Of course, if all that fits, humor, romantic love and physical affection would be the cherry on top.
