I am a tax accountant primarily representing clients with tax controversies before state and federal tax in authorities. My spouse has recently chosen to separate from me. As. a Catholic , I hope we can heal our marriage. I daily pray for this to happen. My wife and I have been married almost five years. My first marriage was to my high school sweet heart. We were married almost 50 years. Her funeral mass was on what would have been our fiftieth anniversary.
I am seeking companionship and friendship. I love talking with with folks who are open to new ideas. Nothing is off limits as far as I am concerned. I would love to meet someone who likes to travel.
I am concerned about the polarization in our country. I have participated in both community and public service. I was on the board of a regional transit authority, and I also served for 14 years as Chair of my county’s election board. I was active in the JAYCEES serving as both a local and state officer. I am a founding member of our local county Habitat for Humanity. I served this organization as its Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, and CEO/COO.
I have 4 children from my first marriage and 3 stepchildren from my second marriage. Between my wife and I we have 6 grandchildren..
I have a masters degrees in accounting. I also have completed graduate work in philosophy and English. I have taught accounting, finance, philosophy, and English at the college level.
I love to read, especially in the areas of economics, politics, spirituality, and Church history. I love to watch old movies, especially foreign films and film noir. One of my favorites channels is the Criterion channel.
I am an active member of my local parish serving on the RCIA team and with the Knights of Columbus.I came to the Catholic Church by the way of the Methodist Church. At the time I became Catholic, I was a candidate for ordained ministry. WhennI lived in SC, I also was active in parish and the diocese.
I believe all of Reslity is relational. I have come to this view through my reading of the Church Fathers as well as my studies in quantum physics and consciousness studies. I take serious the Godpel command to preach to the nations the Good News. God loves us, so we love each other. We all are Children of God. I would love to share life experiences with another daughter of God.
