Hey there. I live in O.C. and have been here most of my life. Love to laugh, am a bit of a clown around my friends, and believe that being serious is for funerals, business deals and when things aren't working out (and the occasional romantic moment that ends up being funny or a moment to remember.) Being a professional driver, I am familiar with the area and the sights, restaurants, entertainment and quiet spots.
I also love to hang with my friends and enjoy late night venues. Not really comfortable in the "bar scene" so I try to avoid that if possible. I have a love for music and broadcast radio and some of my friends are musicians and perform various places. So I look forward to going to the events.
I have been in broadcast radio for 30 years now and I enjoy fixing things and designing studios, listening to some of my artist friends while driving, working or now that I have more time to go picnicking locally to get away from all the rush. A more recent endeavor is Real Estate Investing. I have always been interested in buying ugly houses, fixing them up and then selling them or renting them out.
Recently I had to make some changes in my life and I have much more time to date and slow down and "smell the roses" and would like to meet someone close to home (30 miles or so) to go out with, one on one, with friends, for pizza, or some place we choose, take a fun, relaxing walk someplace nice, or just staying in and watch a couple of good movies with popcorn.

There are some crazy things that I guess you would call a bucket list of sorts, that I would love to do with someone because, 1) Life is boring to experience things alone and 2) I like to experience life with others as we have fun or enjoy time together. Someday, I'd like to:
1) Rent a Hot Air Balloon and eat cheese and crackers and drink wine while gliding over the Earth.
2) Ride Horseback in open fields or trails (Done this before but want to again)
3) ROAD TRIPS- Drive (or fly) to 10 different places and take-in the local scene. ( I enjoy People Watching)
4) Fly to Catalina by helicopter for lunch and tour the island, maybe stay the night and come back the next day.
5) Take a short cruise to Ensanada for 3 or 5 days.
6) Go to the Grand Canyon.
7) To Yosemite Park and meet Yogi Bear...
8) Take a train to Arizona or someplace nearby.
9) Go to Canada
There are more but I think that is a general idea.

A woman who can laugh at herself as well as others, who is emotionally available (No DRAMA Queens), someone who is truly looking for a man to share her life with.
There's a saying that goes something like this,"Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all." As corny as that sounds, it's true to me. I am an ol' hopeless romantic and wish more women knew what that was all about. It is difficult to compete with someone’s ideals that don't appreciate a guy opening doors and sending little notes of appreciation and flowers just because.
So, that is the kind of person I am looking for. A girley girl, or maybe woman who wears jeans and enjoys dressing up every once in awhile. Someone who doesn't mind watching me do whatever I do and is comfortable just hanging out and who doesn't have to be entertained every minute of our time together. Sometimes you learn the most about someone just by being around and discussing issues and asking questions.
