I spent the first 12 years of my career speechwriting and became a full-time farmer with my husband, who passed away in 2022. Please be honest, kind to a fault and funny as heck. Maybe I'm old-fashioned but bringing me flowers and holding the door open for me go a long way toward softening my heart.
